Register for our Manage my Service webinar
We are hosting an online Manage my Service webinar for children and young people care services on Friday, 17 July from 12:30-13:30 to help you prepare for the launch of our new digital platform in August.
As a single online portal, Manage my Service will replace our existing Digital Portal and eForms to simplify how you communicate with us, making processes more efficient and improving security.
This online session will provide an overview of the platform and cover key changes for providers, onboarding, training and support. There will also be a live Q&A session.
Review of quality framework for fostering, adoption and adult placement services
We are reviewing our quality framework for fostering, adoption and adult placement services. We would like to hear from you if you are a provider, manager or staff member in one or more of these service types.
To help us understand what works well and what could be better with the current framework, please take the time to complete our short survey. The survey will also allow you to tell us if you’d like further opportunities to contribute to our review. The survey closes on Friday 3 July 2026.

Have Your Say survey reveals workforce experiences
The SSSC has published the 2026 Have Your Say Workforce Wellbeing Survey report. The report shows a highly motivated workforce, that many people feel valued and they want to learn and develop.
Most people joined the sector to make a difference and expected to enjoy their role. However, the report also highlights ongoing challenges, including workload pressures, staff turnover and pay and conditions.
The survey report shows that experiences vary across the workforce, depending what type of service people work in. The SSSC will hold a series of free events to share the survey findings and provide more detailed insights for different parts of the sector.
