Cyrenians Scottish Centre for Conflict Resolution
Join one of SCCR's online conflict resolution series sessions, Anxiety and Resilience – Understanding Emotions and Coping, which explores what it means to feel anxious or afraid and the difference between anxiety and stress as underlying contributors to these emotional states. Using SCCR’s digital resources, the session looks at the science behind anxiety and examines resilience - what it is, how different factors can affect it, and why it is not a fixed character trait but something we build over time through experience.
Participants will have the opportunity to relate to these emotional states, explore the science behind them, and reflect on practical tips and coping skills to help strengthen resilience. Delivered by an SCCR trainer via Zoom, this introductory-level session requires no prior knowledge. Once registered, you will receive a pre-event email with joining instructions, followed by a full PDF of session information once bookings have closed.
