On Monday 1 April 2024, the Health and Care (Staffing) (Scotland) Act 2019 will be enacted and Regulation 15 of the Social Care and Social Work Improvement Scotland (Requirements for Care Services) Regulations 2011 will be repealed.
Between April 2023 and March 2024, the safe staffing programme has engaged with over 7000 representatives from early learning and childcare, children and young people, and adult services. Listening to feedback, we developed sector specific information pages on The Hub.
To support the care sector to develop their knowledge and understanding further we developed an online resource to support providers and staff with enactment
