2023 was a busy year for the appropriate adult workstream. We engaged with and listened to people who use services, those who provide services and those who commission and request services. We've worked closely with our partners at COSLA, the Scottish Government, and the national oversight group.
We carried out a 15-week test programme with two appropriate adult services, focusing on three quality indicators. The test was well received, and we had positive engagement as we supported them as they started their self-evaluation and improvement journey. Following the test, our celebration of the year was the publication and launch of the quality improvement framework to support self-evaluation for appropriate adult services in Scotland at the national appropriate adult event, Our National Journey.
