The awards are the highlight of the year for volunteering in Fife. We'd love to hear your success stories and shine a light on the role of Fife's brilliant volunteers and voluntary organisations. This year's awards' ceremony will take place on Wednesday 05 June at Carnegie Conference Centre in Dunfermline and promises to be a special evening for nominees.

Methil Heritage Centre Reopens After Four Year Closure
Following its closure in 2020, Methil Heritage Centre reopened on Wednesday 03 April 2024.
The centre is managed by OnFife who have appointed a museum assistant, and a community engagement coordinator who is carrying out consultation and engagement across Levenmouth.

Come along to hear from guest speakers, get the latest news and updates from peer in Fife and nationally, and find out about upcoming learning and training opportunities. The gathering is a fantastic space to network and connect with others involved in peer in Fife. Tea, coffee and cake provided!

The Fife Employability Forum is held quarterly and brings together staff and managers involved in employability services from all sectors - aiming to help organisations to work together to improve employment outcomes for people in Fife.

Our forum is open to any third sector organisation working within the health and social care sector in Fife. The forum is a fantastic space for third sector colleagues to come along and hear about key developments in health and social care in Fife and nationally, discuss significant issues and network with other third sector organisations.

Changes to Disclosure/PVG processes

We will cover the main changes to disclosures and give you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about how this will impact you and the services being provided. We will also cover how you can feed into the current consultation regarding the PVG fee waiver for volunteers.

The event will explore what community development means to you. Participants will have an opportunity to meet other community development practitioners and participate in discussion groups about your role in community development and what it means to your organisation.

Young men aged 18-34 are at highest risk of not attending an appointment with secondary care specialities. NHS would like your help to understand why so they can make changes to support young men attend appointments.

The Commissioner's primary purpose will be to promote and safeguard the rights of disabled people. They are encouraging disabled people to be part of this work and be involved during this consultation phase.
