Publication of Mental Health and Wellbeing Workforce Action Plan

The Mental Health and Wellbeing Workforce Action Plan sets out the vision of a Scotland free from stigma and inequality, where every person fulfills their right to achieve the best mental health and wellbeing possible.

 

 

FVA at The Gathering 2023

This week we attended The Gathering, the largest voluntary sector event in the UK. We were delighted to hear Humza Yousaf highlight the importance of the Volunteer Charter and encourage others to sign up as charter champions.

 

 

Scottish Government launches winter plan for health and social care

The plan sets out a whole system approach for responding to a surge in demand for health and social care services and outlining the actions to help relieve pressure points across the system.

 

 

Important Change to PVG Online Application

Disclosure Scotland has made a change to the online application for PVG (protected vulnerable groups) with immediate effect. All applicants must now provide a UK mobile phone number when completing their application via PVG Online.

 

 

Patient Safety Commissioner Bill passed

The Bill will help to amplify the voice of patients and drive safety improvements across healthcare.

 

 

Autistic adults to receive more support thanks to fund

The £500,000 Autistic Adult Support Fund has announced the 16 charities across Scotland which will provide more vital support for autistic adults and their families.
