We're excited to be able to share details of the new lodges coming soon to Homelands ?
To tie our new lodges into the existing accommodation at Homelands, we kept to the theme of local landmarks. Our shortlist was passed to our local Lundin Mill Primary School so the pupils could cast votes for their favourites and whittle it down to the five winning names.
They chose; Emsdorf, Lundin, Largo, Selkirk and Durham. The two names with the highest votes were Lundin and Largo so we used these to name the two largest lodges.
The new lodges are still in the construction stage, and while they're making great progress you don't get too much of a feel for how they'll be just yet. Our architect's visions do however give a good indication of what they'll look like.
We can't wait to see them in their finished state!
As any previous guests of Homelands will know, making fully accessible accommodation is our number one priority. And this remains the case with our new lodges.
Each lodge comes fitted with specialist equipment as standard and we'll continue to provide any further equipment required to meet each of our guest's needs, at no additional cost.
