The Care Home Infection Prevention and Control Manual will be launched by National Antimicrobial Resistance & Healthcare Associated Infection Scotland (ARHAI) on 24 May 2021.
This practice guide for care homes has been co-produced with national stakeholders and can help reduce the risk of infections and ensure the safety of people who live and work in, and visit, a care home.
To support the roll out of the manual and answer any questions services may have, NHS Education for Scotland is holding a series of two webinars for care homes. One webinar will introduce the manual and the other will cover the cleaning specification. Both webinars are useful to services.
