Fife Centre for Equalities will offer the training event Inclusion Fundamentals on Thursday, 19 January 2017, between 10:00 and 16:00, at Fife Carers Centre. Inclusion Fundamentals will give participants the basic guiding principles in understanding the diverse needs of people with different protected characteristics, and how these needs can be met with flexibility and adjustments to how business is usually conducted. A little reminder that, together with the Carnegie UK Trust, we are hosting Fife's conversation about Scotland’s National Outcomes on Thursday, 26 January 2017, 13:30 to15:00, at the Kirkcaldy Galleries. Please contact us to book a place, the event is free.
Your contribution to Out and About: Reviewing #AccessibleFife would be really appreciated. This is an initiative to get another 50 venues in Fife reviewed on Euan's Guide. The aim of Euan's Guide is "to empower disabled people by providing information that will give confidence and choices for getting out and about." All you need to do is open the website and fill in a review form, it is very short and simple. On the home page, you will also find some completed reviews for reference. We will host an information session on Friday, 3 February, 11:00 to 13:15, at the Homelands Trust, Paxton Centre. A light networking lunch will be provided, please contact us to book a place.
