Park Golf and Lunch Event for Unpaid Carers
|
|
To celebrate Carers Week (09 - 16 June), Fife Voluntary Action’s Respitality project hosted a free park golf and lunch event for unpaid carers.
Respitality in Fife teamed up with Dunnikier Park Community Golf to offer a fun and relaxing session of park golf at their beautiful green in Kirkcaldy.
Attendees were welcomed at 10.00am with tea and coffee before being grouped into teams to enjoy a round of park golf. We were even lucky enough to get a warm, sunny day - perfect for getting out on the course!
After the session attendees enjoyed a free buffet lunch and some fun activities in the clubhouse.
The event was open to unpaid carers registered with a carer support organisation in Fife.
A huge thank you to Dunnikier Park Community Golf for their excellent hosting, food, and their team of volunteers who taught us how to play and guided us round the course.
